Mr. James is former forensic gemologist for USAA insurance working with the USAA Gem Lab and Special Investigations Unit fraud division. He operates the most advanced forensic gemological lab in the industry and has been called on for expert witness investigations and testimony in high value cases in the United States and United Kingdom.
Credentials include Harvard University, Cornell Law School, and all major gemological institutes. He is a Certified Continuing Education Provider for the insurance industry, as well as a Certified Insurance Instructor. He holds a professional license as a Property and Casualty Adjuster of the Texas Department of Insurance. Mr. James is founder and president of the United States Gemological Institute.
