Practicals and Exams Retake Fee

All active students needing to do a retake on your Workbook Practical, 20 Gemstone Final, or RGA Appraisal Final please use the order form below. The retake fees are listed on the order form.

Retake Fee Schedule:

Workbook Practical Set: $75.00
20 Gemstone Final Exam: $75.00
RGA Appraisal Final Exam: $100.00

Insurance and Legal Industry Professional Outreach for RGA Graduates

The USGI maintains a program where we send out letters of introduction to the insurance and legal industry offices in your area to announce your professional service available to them as a USGI Registered Gemologist Appraiser and member of the Global Claims Associates. This introduction can serve as your springboard to launch your gemology and appraisal services. For the fee of $500.00 we will populate, produce, and mail a direct mail campaign to the professionals in your area, then provide you with the distribution list for your to do follow up contacts and outreach. Use the form below to start your USGI promotional outreach program to help get your business going.

ISG to USGI  Diploma Update

All graduates holding our International School of Gemology diplomas under that name can now update your diploma to reflect our new operating name: United States Gemological Institute. Please use the form below and follow these steps:

  1. Provide your complete mailing address for packages,
  2. Provide a clear photograph of your ISG Diploma showing the dates and titles clearly,
  3. Pay the reproduction fee: U.S. Graduates: $50.00, International Students: $100.00,
  4. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks depending on your shipping address to receiver your updated diploma.
